We have a 10,000 square-foot-area. We use over 5,000 of that, for our boarding and grooming. We have a large outdoor turnout area, which we turn boarding dogs out 3 times a day, so they can play and use the restroom. We can board 50 to 60 dogs at a time. We have groomed as many as 40 dogs a day with 4 groomers. At the present time I have cut my grooming back and we're training a new groomer. We would like to hire a groomer or 2 in the near future.

Terisa Wenner, with a background in dog showing and Australian Shepherd breeding spanning 15 years, graduated from Animal Arts Grooming School in Carmel, IN, in 1996. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 1998 when she established her own grooming shop. In 2008, Terisa expanded her services by relocating her grooming shop to Chesterfield Animal Hospital and incorporating boarding services for dogs and cats. After another move in 2014 to Graham's Furniture Store, Terisa's business continues to thrive, boasting a client base of 2500. Offering both grooming and boarding services, Terisa's business sees consistent growth in its boarding operations each year.
