About the Owners
Jackie VanKempen, owner of Jackie's Pet Salon and Boutique LLC in Schenectady, New York, has been a passionate pet lover her whole life. After leaving her desk job in the pharmaceutical world, Jackie followed her heart into grooming, opening her first salon in 2008. Through countless challenges, including economic crises and a pandemic, Jackie’s love for her work has only grown stronger, and she’s proud to have become a staple in her community, providing not only grooming services but also a small boutique and daycare for pets.
