About the Owners
Sarah Himelstein, co-owner of Puptown Lounge in Columbus, Ohio, and her brother Cliff, opened their doggie daycare business in 2008 with a $25,000 loan from their grandfather. Sarah had grown up around dogs, as their mother ran a grooming service from their basement. Sarah and Cliff worked together to make Puptown Lounge a success, expanding to three locations and adding grooming services in 2009. Sarah's dedication to providing top-quality care for dogs remains at the heart of the business, which continues to grow with a focus on expanding their reach and services.
