Salty Paws is a wonderfully welcoming studio that has a waiting room with large windows, 2 bathing tubs, 4 tables and an open play area and individual crates if requested. our intention is for the atmosphere to be something less stressful for dogs. We give them spaces to calm down, destress, play with toys, and even relax on the couch. We want to create the best place we can and treat every dog as if they're our own. Salty Paws is located a mile from the beach and the relaxing atmosphere for our clientele reflects that culture.

Mallory McKelvey and Janey Uzelac are business partners who share a passion for pets and a longstanding friendship. They met over 12 years ago while working at a corporate pet store chain and remained close friends even after parting ways professionally. In 2019, they seized the opportunity to fulfill their dream of opening their own grooming studio in their dream location of Huntington Beach. With a shared love for animals and nature, they envisioned Salty Paws as a place where every pet is treated with kindness and understanding. Their grooming salon focuses on creating a nurturing environment for dogs, reflecting their deep care and respect for animals.
