Julia Dixon's journey in the pet care industry began in June 2007 when she opened Pet Recess at her small house in Middleboro, MA. In 2015, she expanded her business ventures by acquiring an existing grooming and boarding business in Lakeville, MA, where she incorporated her daycare services. Before venturing into pet care, Julia worked as a Veterinary Technician for several years. Originally from the UK, she held positions such as clinical manager/OR Assistant in an Oral and Maxillofacial Department in Basinstoke, Hants before relocating to the USA in 1994.
