Melissa Whaley has been self-employed in the grooming industry since 2000. In 2016, she expanded her business by opening Melissa's Pretty Paws, a larger salon located on Market Street in New Albany. Following this success, Melissa launched For the Love of Dogs in Clarksville in 2019. Currently, she oversees both salons, which collectively employ eight groomers, including herself.
