House of Dogs NJ is shop where the dog is treated as an individual. Every dog is not the same, and it’s important to work with the dog in front of you! I aim to make every dogs visit a positive or neutral experience. It’s very important to me that I have clear communication and transparency with all of my clients. My goal is always to provide the highest level of care and grooming experience they are looking for!

Amani Nelson, with a lifelong passion for handling and grooming dogs, launched House of Dogs NJ slightly over a year ago. With 12 years of grooming experience under her belt, Amani has dedicated numerous hours to volunteering at her local animal shelter. Her family includes her partner, three dogs, and an 8-year-old daughter. During her leisure time, Amani indulges in all things dog-related and trains her youngest dog for various sports activities.
