He holds national certifications in both Sporting and Non-Sporting breeds and is trained in pet CPR/First Aid. Karu prioritizes the well-being of pets and is certified in Low Stress Handling™ and Fear Free™ techniques. He opened Grooming Arts Northwest in 2017 to bring his expertise in show and competition grooming to mixed-breed and pet grooming.
