I grew up on Long Island. I went to the New York School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan in 2002 and have been grooming ever since. When I was 26, I moved to Manhattan to work in the city as a groomer. One of my grooming jobs gave me the opportunity to teach the bathers at our salon to be groomers in a grooming apprentice program. I did this for a year or so. I then decided the next step for me was to open my own salon. I opened Bark Avenue Grooming on the upper west side of Manhattan in January of 2016, and we have been happily servicing clients from all over ever since.
