Am I Charging Enough? 💲💲💲

We built a free tool to help you answer that.

Happy Friday Daily Groomers!

‍

There’s one question that comes up over and over when I talk to groomers…

‍

“Am I charging enough?”

‍

Maybe you’ve been charging the same price for three years.

‍

Maybe you just raised your prices… and now you’re wondering if you went too far.

‍

Or maybe someone told you, “The groomer down the street does it for less.” 🙃

‍

So you start digging. Open a few websites. Click through booking pages. Try to figure out what everyone actually charges.

‍

Twenty tabs later, you still don’t have a clear answer.

‍

We wanted to make that part easier.

‍

Well, we wanted to take that idea a step further.

Meet Grooming Price Check by Teddy. 🐶

‍

A free tool that lets you see how your prices compare with publicly listed grooming prices in your area.

‍

Here’s how it works:

📍 Choose your city.
✂️ Pick bath & brush or full groom.
💵 Enter what you charge on average.

‍

Hit “Check my market” and you’ll see the market median, a typical price range, and where your price lands.

‍

Free. No account. No giant PDF to dig through.

‍

Benchmark My Grooming Prices

‍

The snapshot includes publicly available pricing from 2,237 grooming shop records across the U.S. If there isn’t enough pricing for your city, you’ll see a broader state or national comparison.

‍

And a little context: a small dog’s bath and a big doodle’s full groom are very different jobs. Sizes, coats, and what’s included all affect the price.

‍

This gives you a starting point for the conversation. Your costs, time, and experience matter too.

‍

Go plug in your price. I’m curious what you find.

‍

For the love of transparency,

‍

Alex 🐶

‍

P.S. After checking your market, you can choose to share your own average price. Those submissions stay separate from the benchmarks while we review them—helping us build a better resource over time.
